Hat-trick for MVF’s Publishing Team with Three Award Nominations

MVF’s Publishing department is celebrating its third award nomination of the month as the shortlist for the Drum Search Awards was announced today and they picked up not one, but two nominations - adding to the one they already received earlier this month at the Drum Marketing Awards. MVF and its B2B brand Expert Market are up for SEO - Best B2B and SEO - Best Use of PR for their campaign about the gender pay gap.

The campaign combined a video of children receiving different amounts of chocolate coins for the same work to teach them about the gender pay gap with two data projects; one which worked out the date women effectively start working for free around the world and the other which researched which countries will close the gender pay gap first.

The campaign was hugely successful, winning hundreds of links and publicity around the world. It is up against heavyweights like Money Supermarket and Expedia - the results will be announced on the 25th May at a ceremony in central London.

Grace Garland who is Head of PR and Communications at MVF comments: “I am really proud that this campaign is up for two awards, it is testament to the amazing team that worked on it. B2B content is often perceived as being less newsworthy and not as connected to emotions as B2C, but with this campaign the MVF PR, Video and SEO team has proved that that doesn’t have to be the case.”
