On Friday 5 October a team of MVFers will be sleeping out in support of Byte Night 2018. Raising funds to fight youth homelessness, Byte Night is the UK’s largest corporate sleep out attended by celebrities like Ryan Giggs and London’s biggest tech companies.
Byte Night’s charity partner is Action for Children, a well established charity which provides practical support to disadvantaged children in need of help. Last year, Action for Children supported more than 370,000 children by providing family support programmes and education opportunities as well as helping those with disabilities.
The MVF Byte Night team have started fundraising via Just Giving pages, and MVF will be matching all donations raised by the individuals and their colleagues as they work to hit their massive £6,000 fundraising target.
Product Manager, Alex Mandel is one of our MVFers participating and commented: “Homelessness is an increasing problem and we must help people avoid that downward spiral as early as possible. Action for Children do great work to help young people out of the dangerous situations that can force them into homelessness by taking real action to deal with the underlying causes.”
