The one month countdown to Ibiza has begun for all the lucky employees here at MVF.
It is officially four weeks until the company-sponsored holiday to Europe’s biggest party island, and the team cannot contain their excitement.
The three day trip is a reward for MVF hitting an on-going target which is the icing on the cake for an already highly successful year.
So far in 2014, the company reached 41st on The Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to work for and was also presented with the prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
But back to Ibiza! There are 154 MVF employees confirmed for the trip and the itinerary finalised. There will be a White Party for the annual MVF awards, visits to the Old Town and tickets to two of Ibiza’s super clubs, Ushuaia and Pacha.
It’s fair to say the team is pretty thrilled.
Nick Belcher, Director of Consumer Offers, said: “I’m really psyched about the trip. As a father of two young kids, the chance to party all night and sleep in ‘til lunch doesn’t come around that often!
“I’m most excited about hiring racing bikes and cycling the coast road. It sounds like a dozen or so of us are doing this, and it’s going to be great - tons of crazy hills to climb, hopefully some hot sun and a bit of healthy competition amongst MVF’s many serious cyclists.”
Fellow cycling veteran, Max Holloway from the SEO team, said: “I'm most looking forward to cycling around the whole island then kicking back on the beach drinking those cocktails with the big umbrellas.”
Amongst the team are some Ibiza old-timers including Kiran Parmer, from the PPC team. He said: “I’m feeling excited as you would expect, especially given it will be trip number eight or nine for me. In fact, I just got back Ibiza last month!”
And proving that us MVF lot are talented all-rounders, our very own Ricky Bergmann from the design team will be treating us to a few tunes. He said: “I have played in Ibiza before so I'm most looking forward to our evening parties; if all goes to plan I should DJ for us for a few hours.”
Hopefully the Spanish sun will hold out until our arrival but either way the weekend is set to be an epic one.
