The Role - Sales Development at MVF
Starting out - You will go through three months of in-depth training through MVF’s Sales Academy - building the foundations for success and learning all aspects of what really makes a successful relationship work with our clients.
The aim of our academy is to give you the tools you need to intelligently approach prospecting, identifying the highest value opportunities and setting meetings for Senior and Key Business Sales Team colleagues.
You’ll be working across a wide range of products and industries - MVF’s generates customers for brands all over the world, and our Austin office works with clients all across the Americas.
The role rewards a commercially astute approach to prospecting, high volumes of client interaction (primarily via phone, LinkedIn and email outreach), and strong communications and negotiation skills. It focuses on the first stages of the client relationship, with the deal closing being handled by the Senior salesperson in your team. Therefore you will have the time to master your vertical prospecting, outreach, org-navigation, and communication skills and quickly become an expert salesperson.

What will you be doing here?
You will be creating new pipelines of multinational business opportunities to fuel MVF’s growth. Partnering with Senior Salespeople to achieve sales quotas each month.
We work with some really complex business to solve their customer generation headaches - so there’s a lot of research and outreach strategy involved to make sure we’re engaging with the right ones. This can involve working with Senior Sales and Sales Management to develop outreach strategy for singular-targeted prospects, or coordinated approaches on key, high-value prospects.
You’ll be engaging with Directors, VPs and C Suite sales, marketing and operations executives to understand their particular commercial landscape, identify opportunities, and provide value.
Once you’ve engaged with a potential partner, you’ll be monitoring and attending meetings with them - handling intro’s and follow-ups with the sales team. To do this, you’ll be meeting and exceeding targets such as outbound calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach as well.
At every stage, you’ll be constantly learning and improving. Whether that involves honing your own approach to outreach; learning and implementing the fundamentals such as cadence and copy, or testing combinations of outreach methods to really stay on top of your game. You’ll also benefit from working closely with our most senior salespeople to gain insight into the entire sales process.
You’ll also have the autonomy to work outside your day-to-day role; whether that’s helping the team improve a process, training, technology and many other parts of our business.
