The Eco Experts is looking for a Spanish-speaking Content Manager to play a key role in an exciting new venture. 

Founded in 2011 as one of MVF’s core B2C Publishing brands, The Eco Experts helps people in the UK reduce their energy bills and cut their carbon footprint. We cover a whole range of green home improvements with advice guides and blog posts, including solar panels, heat pumps, and electric vehicle charging points. With energy bills constantly on the rise, our brand is poised to make a really positive impact in the UK.

Next stop: Spain! The Eco Experts is launching a new website in Spain focussing primarily on solar panels, and so it needs an ambitious Content Manager to get the ball rolling. Our ideal candidate has a genuine interest in renewable energy as well as the ability to deliver a content strategy.

What you'll be doing

The Content Manager will be responsible for delivering the content strategy of The Eco Experts’s new Spanish website, using competitor analysis and keyword research to create detailed article briefs, developing a network of freelance writers, and producing articles of an excellent standard. 


Key responsibilities:

  • Use competitor analysis and keyword research to create detailed article briefs
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of high quality content by developing a network of freelance writers, as well as writing your own articles
  • Manage the brand’s content delivery via Coschedule
  • Write content to an exceptional standard for your brand
  • Proof and edit articles written for your brand, alongside Editors
  • Ensure brand guidelines, style and tone of voice are consistently applied
  • Provide input and feedback on the brand strategy being set by the Editor and work with them to adapt the content plan to align as required
  • Line management of the brand-dedicated and/or freelance writers including performance tracking of writer KPIs and providing feedback, support and guidance to writers where required
  • Coordinate with creative service teams for additional assets e.g. video, graphics and imagery
  • Develop genuine knowledge of the Spanish solar panel market, and use this expertise to drive intelligent and effective article briefs
  • Help maintain smooth operations in event of Editor/Deputy Editor absence

  • A high-performing and highly motivated brand content team
  • Website content is fresh and accurate
  • Content is aligned to brand house and style guides
  • Both you and your team of writers are hitting performance KPIs
  • Writers are receiving regular editorial review and feedback to support content being world class
  • The content team are contributing to building the brand’s Expertise and Authority, and audience Trust (E-A-T) both on and off the website
  • Content is supported by creative assets, in line with brand guidelines
  • Writers are supported and nurtured towards their development
  • Example set to all writers in the team by delivering, maintaining and growing their own content to the highest possible standard


Desired Skills & Experience


  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • At least two years experience in commissioning and editing articles
  • At least three years writing experience
  • Excellent writing and grammar
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs, as well as online traffic monitoring platforms such as Google Analytics



  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback to writers
  • Strong interest in renewable energy
  • Wordpress experience
  • Commercial copywriting experience
