The Role

MVF’s Brand’s team is on a mission to provide trusted content that helps people make confident decisions about the products and services they buy. 
As an Editorial Assistant, you will be supporting the Campaigns team in the planning, briefing and creation of link-worthy content across MVF’s portfolio of sites.
Your role will be varied, with the chance to support a wide range of editorial tasks and the opportunity to engage with every team in the department.As an Editorial Assistant, you will be communicating with both internal teams and external freelancers to help ensure link-worthy resources are created on a monthly basis.

Key to the role are strong organisation skills, and a desire to learn and develop digital marketing knowledge and awareness in a fast-paced, dynamic team.

Our Team

The Brand team is responsible for all of MVF’s websites and is tasked with making sure they are all operating at a world class standard in terms of quality and performance. The department consists of:

  • Vertical brand hubs – Set the strategy for our brands and are responsible for ensuring they achieve commercial targets
  • The Content team - responsible for the production of all of our content and assuring it is of the highest quality. on all of our sites and ensuring they meet their organic traffic and revenue targets
  • The SEO team - responsible for setting on-site and off-site SEO strategy for our sites, for implementing technical SEO best practice and securing high value links and coverage for our websites.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Campaigns Team in finding potential link-worthy topics to create content around
  • Assisting in creating briefs for both internal and external writers/designers
  • Helping to ensure successful content and graphic creation with consistent publication on a monthly basis across MVF's portfolio of sites
  • Communicating with internal writers to create thought leadership pieces
  • Finding and liaising with new freelancers that the team can work with
  • Supporting with team admin including the processing of payments and updating of key team documents
  • Providing support on multiple stages of link building campaigns
