MVF is seeking a new Managing Editor for Expert Market, a leading digital content resource for businesses globally. You will lead the shaping and execution of the brand’s strategic development, generating and publishing creative content ideas to build its reputation and profile in the market.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop a deep understanding of the target audience and market trends
  • Create an editorial strategy that caters for audience needs and supports our business growth objectives
  • Collaborate with other leaders and functional teams (Content, SEO, CRO & Tech) to deliver and communicate the Expert Market brand roadmap
  • Grow website visitors and engagement among our target audience
  • Support and drive commercial growth from our lead generation and affiliate business models.
  • Lead, direct and motivate the editorial team, setting clear goals and objectives
  • Overall ownership for content strategy and pipeline for Expert Market

About you/Requirements for the role

  • Track record of successful audience development in B2B or B2C markets on digital platforms.
  • Leadership experience as an Editor, Deputy Editor or senior Editor
  • Experience leading an editorial team and working effectively with key stakeholders in commercial, marketing, product and technology teams
  • Strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics and relevant search tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep understanding of many types of content - product reviews, how-to guides, breaking news, features, investigative, trends etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of working collaboratively - and successfully - across departments, including Product, Technology, Data, Sales, Marketing, Outreach & PR
