CEO Titus Sharpe Named Entrepreneur of the Year at the National Business Awards

Last night was a momentous evening for MVF CEO Titus Sharpe as he was named the Smith and Williamson Entrepreneur of the Year at the National Business Awards

The awards considered all aspects of leading and shaping an effective business from financial records to how the founder guides the organisation. Judges found Titus’s impressive record over the past five years and exceptional relationship with his staff made him the most notable nominee this year, beating tough competition from some of the UK’s most prominent business figures.

Titus has overseen growth at a rapid rate over the past year, doubling staff numbers and expanding the business, yet he has managed to maintain a happy workforce. He has put real emphasis on the importance of company culture, and gets involved with every aspect of the company from personally congratulating good team performances, to baking cakes for the CSR fundraisers.

The judges said: “Titus is an inspiring choice and a wonderful ambassador for the Smith & Williamson Entrepreneur of the Year Award. With a young and engaged workforce, and with customers in over 100 countries, he has masterminded the growth of one of the most exciting and pioneering scale-up businesses in the UK”.

Jules Hopkinson, co-founder of MVF comments: “We are all delighted for Titus – he is an inspirational leader who deserves this recognition, and we are extremely lucky to have him on the team.”
