MVF is officially the best company to work for in the UK. At the Sunday Times awards ceremony, which celebrated the top 100 companies to work for across the UK, MVF came out on top overall and also picked up a special accolade for learning and development. The awards are voted for anonymously by staff who rate their employer on everything from earnings, to charitable giving, to management.
MVF scored highest for ‘my team’, ‘my manager’ and ‘personal growth’. The cherry on the cake was also collecting the award for learning and development – an award which recognised MVF’s two Institute for Leadership and Management accredited training schemes – the Management Development Academy and the ‘Mate to Manager’ scheme – both of which train MVFers up on how to grow and develop their teams.
MVF also hosts an annual ‘learning festival’ called MVF Fest which sees people from across the business share expertise and pass on lessons to their colleagues (followed by an amazing party, of course!). This was the 7th time MVF has been on the Best Companies list, reaching no 2 in 2018 before finally making it to the top spot this time. CEO Michael Teixeira comments: “I could not be prouder of MVF than I am today.
